Any ideas on how to honor your pets that can not make it to your DW?

Hi everyone,

 

I am not sure if anyone already has a thread on this...I apologize if there already is one.  I have two dogs that are me & my FI's life!!!  They obviously can not travel to Mexico with us to be a part of our wedding ceremony and celebration. 

Does anyone have any ideas on how pets can be honored at your ceremony and during your trip??  I have been trying to think of a way of incorporating them that make my FI feel better about not having them there.   :-)

I have seen a few brides that have charms hanging off their bouquet with small photos of their pets- that might be a simple and creative way to incorporate your pets! Good luck!

On Four Weddings one of the brides used pictures of her pets as table numbers.  It was nice b/c it got a lot of the guests up moving around to other tables to see the other pictures.

Good suggestions ladies. My FI is also sad that we can't bring our pets along...we have two small dogs, and we haven't taken a trip without them yet....lol

We are in the same boat....we have two doggie that are mine and my fiancees children. We are getting a custom made cake topper of the two of them and us. I also really like the idea of using the table numbers as pictures of them.

This is an exceptionally cute and original idea. Another idea I think would be nice is a slide show with music to showcase your pets on digital display throughout the wedding reception. You could have it as part of a slide show for continuous play throughout the celebration if you would like.

the photo idea is a great one, and I might have to do this as a surprise to my fiance since his dog is his child and I'm not certain how they are going to survive being apart from each other for so long
