Belize 2013??

Hello ladies, I am thinking of getting married in Belize in 2013 (february or may) and was hoping to get a bit of current info on San Pedro or Placentia... The stuff posted on here has been helpful but wondering if anyone knew what package prices are costing now.  We are looking at having around 45-60 guests and don't want our guests to have to pay too much, yet we want everyone staying in a villa/hotel that is comfortable and nice.

If there is anyone that could pass some info along my way, it would be greatly appreciated.

Hello:

My husband and I have been to to Belize 3 times and just love it.  In San Pedro we stayed at the SunBreeze.  It is right on the beach. They have many rooms and should be able to accommodate all your guests and they have great food.  We spent some time scuba diving and exploring the island.  We are an Award-winning, husband and wife wedding photography duo who love people and are passionate about marriage. We want you to have lasting memories of your wedding day. We have a unique shooting style and love being creative. We love our jobs and feel so blessed to be able to do what we do.  Please check out our website at http://www.fusionedgephotography.com/wedd.html

Hello,

I am not getting married in Belize but I have family there. San Pedro is nice but you may want to look into Placencia only because there may be more tourist things to get into. San Pedro is beautiful and peaceful but it is definately more laid back. Depends on what you really want for your wedding and guest if you are having any come along. Good luck and keep me posted on what you decide! cheesy.gif

I found these pictures of a couple that got married in Placencia. The resort is called Chabil Mar Villas. The bride said she was really picky about her location and that she loved this one, it was her favorite in the country.

So maybe it's something to look into.

The pictures turned out beautiful, the setting was so romantic.

Hope this helps gal.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
