2013 Gran Caribe Real/ Royal Cancun Brides

Recommended Posts

We get to use the credit once we are down there, and can't be used towards the wedding. We split our trip between the Gran Caribe and the Royal. The rooms at the Gran were nice. They are good sized and have nice balcony with an awesome hammock! The bathroom are marble and there was good counter space. The rooms at the Royal were great. They had nice upgrades throughout, including a hot tub. If anyone wants me to email them pics just pm with your email address. :)
Thanks! Glad to hear the rooms are nice. TripAdvisor was making my BP rise while reading the reviews.

It took about an hour and a half for one person to be done with both hair and makeup for my group (mine took the longest). We had 3 appointments starting at 11:00 and my pictures started at 2:30. I felt we had plenty of time and maybe even too much time to wait in between. My mom and sister had their hair and make-up done and they flip flopped back and forth between the hair stylist and make up stylist. I had the same person do both my hair and make-up. When I booked the appointments they had me book an hour for hair and an hour for make-up for each person. Hope that helps a little!

Yay! Congrats!!!!! That's super exciting  :) With 8 months you should still have plenty of time. I will be getting married 2 weeks after you (27th), in the gazebo. Good luck and have fun planning!!!!

Thanks!

The easiest way to do it is to go to the website and  click on the build your wedding link. Then you can add everything and it will give you the prices for each add on. http://weddings.realresorts.com/planning/

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
