2013 Gran Caribe Real/ Royal Cancun Brides

Recommended Posts

I just made my final payment for our wedding in Nov.  It included the cost for my hair and make-up appointment.  For those brides that got their hair done at the salon, did you do a trial prior to your wedding day?  If so, did you have to pay for it??  How much was it??  Did you have to schedule an appointment before you got to the resort with your planner?

Hello Ladies,    Does anyone have any suggestions for videographers/photographers?    Thank you!
I'll be going with: Photos- Octavio Montes (great prices) Video- Funever photos through the resort (yay no vendor fee!) I'm getting the raw video footage for an additional $50 so we can get it edited ourselves. But they do still give you an edited version.

Wow mariposa I'm so excited for you! Your big day is so close now. Please post lots of pics :) Those are really good questions btw. I'd also like to know if anybody did a trial run for hair and makep and how much it cost them.

Hi Mariposa6102 - I can't believe your only a month away from your big day!!!!!  Yay!!! So exciting!!!!

I will be getting my hair and makeup done at the hotel as well and I did have to pay for the trial. It's $45 for a hair trail and the makeup trial is $60 - I booked the trial at the salon with my planner.....or I'm in that process now anyways.

I will be making my final payment this Friday and haven't had any issues or surprises  :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
