Recommended Posts

We are going to be at the Royal Cancun for our honeymoon from October 13-20 if anyone is going to be there (wedding/honeymoon?) and I would love to meet up for a drink? Would love to meet a fellow destination wedding blogger :)

The last time I was supposed to go there Weather.com had it raining for 7 days straight, I was so depressed.  It was like a monsoon our first day there other than that though it was just an occasional Thunderstorm. Try not to worry that much I've never heard of it raining there for days straight.

Thanks and no problem ladies. I got so much help on here and every picture of ours has something in it that I got from this site from other brides. Even though I didn't post much before I have discovered how much I used from here. I could have never accomplished all the "destination" things I did, so I would like to help answer any question you may have.

Awesome!! was it the Chicken Breast Maria Luisa or the Chicken Fantasy?

See pictures I posted.... under album named Gran Caribe Real Resorts Cancun MX in image gallery. Flowers are from Maya Floral. Cake was  made by Gran Caribe Real Resort (I brought my own wedding topper). There's also a picture of the menu. All the food was good, especially the sea food soup. That was so yummy. If I could change things, I would of added some vegetables to the main course.

I told Paty what I wanted so not sure which chicken. It was grilled with a mango salsa type sauce. I was worried it would be dry but it was very tender and juicy. I was impressed since chicken normaly gets dry if preparer ahead time on grill. I also told her to add vegetable and the mashed potatoes where sooo good. I think they had cheese and garlic.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
