Hey! I'm getting married January 25, 2014. Half our guests will be staying at the GCR and the other half at The Royal. Everyone has already booked their vacations !! I'm working with Estela as my wedding coordinator. I am finding things to be going well so far. I have reserved DJ Doremixx :). I am still trying to decide on a photographer! We will be getting married on the beach at 4 then a cocktail hour in the gazebo and dinner reception just off the gazebo. Just trying to figure out all the other details now like flowers and centrepieces and decorations. Looking forward to following all the upcoming 2014 GCR and Royal brides !!!!

Hi Ladies,

 

Just got our wedding highlight video from Mike Cantarell Films. We absolutely LOVED it! My hubby cried while watching it. If you are getting married in Mexico, I highly recommend them for capturing your special day on film. Very good customer service, extrememly friendly, not intrusive at all (didn't even notice them half the time) and the quality of the product at the end is great! Couldn't be happier! Seriously worth every penny. The pictures we got were fabulous from the photographer that we used, but the video just brought me back to the day and was able to capture even more of the emotion on that day. I can't wait to just watch our wedding video of our love story!

I posted pictures of the different locations you can have your wedding or reception. Gran Caribe & The Royal.  I just got back June 9th, 2013 from my wedding & decided to take these pictures for you guys. Look under image gallery, then destination wedding photos.  My photos are on the second row, second set of pictures. Titled: Gran Caribe Real Resorts Cancun MX.  Also just to let you guys know on Gran Caribe's website it shows a terrace with green flooring. The green flooring as been removed.  This terrace is the one titled "Large terrace"

Love the video!!!! Totally wished we would've had time to meet up for a drink..... maybe one day if we got back for our anniversaries. =)

LADIES!!! I was married at GRAN CARIBE REAL JUne 8th, 2013. I haven't had time to post a review, all i can say is that i was truly pleased with the way things turned out. My wedding coordinator was amazing, there was nothing i asked her to do that she refused! Here are a couple of pictures provided by Royal Crew more to come and I will post the link to my review soon! Happy planning, and if you have any questions feel free in contacting me. We got married at the Chapel, had Cocktail hour at the Albatros Terrace and our ceremony at the Albatros Salon next to the Terrace.

It was truly mind blowing and the guests were really pleased and impressed! Everyone had a blast. Here's a quick preview!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
