@mariposa6102, @monicamb, and @MOrdonez...... Hi girls! I'm replying on here because I just realized that you had commented on my review, which means since I didn't get notified, I'm assuming you would be notified that I had replied.

I would def recommend Vallejo Photography! I think they did an amazing job and have been very helpful through the whole process. On top of that, you really can not beat their prices.  The pictures that I shared, they didn't even want me sharing yet because they have not been edited but I wanted to hurry up and do my review.  As soon as I get my edited pictures, I'll make sure to let eveyone know in case you want to see them.  As far as the lighting goes, our reception ended at 10:00 p.m. and we had no problems.  I actually thought it looked great, I know it's dark in the pictures but It looked great there with all the lights from the dj.  If you don't have lighting fromt the dj then I'm not sure how it would work but the bar had a lot of light too so we had no problems.  The tiki torches were all included, I didn't add anything.  We didn't get the light floor, my husband wanted it but I couldn't justify the price. I was told that our package came with a dance floor and when we were shown the Villas Terrace she told us that it was included in the package but she didn't recommend it for the terrace because it starts to come part...I honestly think it was better without it.  I don't like how it's not that big, so it limits the people on it and I just liked the look of the open floor so people were dancing and they weren't on top of each other trying to stay on the dance floor. And yes @Mariposa6102 my florist was A LOT cheaper then the hotels florist and in my opinion his does a much better job.  I was not loving my bouquet and he did a fabolous job fixing it.  I think those were all your questions =)

Please feel free to ask me any other questions that you may have.

I'm not sure what got me sick but we think it was at Asiana's. I saw the Dr today again and he gave me another antibiotic. I'm starting to feel better now atleast to the point where I can lay by the pool and eat a few things. We postponed the massage and dinner on the beach we were supposed to have today. I've seen some pictures from family and friends of the wedding and so far they look good. They did a great job with hair and make up and I tried to make the best of the night. :)

So glad to hear that your starting to feel better and that you were able to pull through and still enjoy the day. I'm sure you looked absolutely stunning!

We leave a week from tomorrow and I'm so nervous I'll forget something important! Besides the obvious things like sunscreen and my wedding dress, does anyone have any ideas?

So far besides the obvious, I have: garment tape, seasick patches (honeymoon fishing trips), gift for hubby on wedding day, all my necessary paperwork, travel bottle of febreeze for when we inevitably have to recycle outfits, aspirin etc...

Wow! So sorry hear that Emily....I will tell you the recommendation is great! I have been several times and the last 2 times I got sick. The last time I was 3 months pregnant and honestly thought the worst cause I had never been so sick in my life. I stayed in the room for 3 days no lights, no tv. I had dr come and had get shots and meds while pregnant and was terrified! I had no ideas what they where? So I have learned to take probiotics!!! The bug usually is from the fruit over there. I now get an extra bowl and wash things with bottle water before I eat. Because fruit is mostly water they obviously don't use bottled water to grow the fruit & lettuce so that's usually it. My doc said eat fruit that you don't eat outside. Like pineapple, coconut good. Grapes apples wash. So the cooked food is best! Hope you feel better and drink pedialyte. They have Mexican one and I ended up loving it. Really helped to get energy & strength back.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
