HAHA, I paid for the Tiffany chairs as well in order to 'reserve them.' I don't know when you are getting married but I just got back and everything was amazing!

If there's that one bride out there that comes to us saying her pix were the BOMB after choosing the resorts photographer, than I may stick with them.  But com'n....at least respond to my email, right!!!!

We are leaving this Sat and getting married 5/10! We purchased the basic video package from the resorts. We didn't want to pay another vendor fee but did want the ceremony on film to have. We debated back and forth and decided to get it. I'll let you guys know how it goes!

Hi mariposa6102, Oh thats been such a pain bc we dont know what the resorts pictures look like. I dont think its amazing pitures from what I read if thats really important then best too look elsewhere LOL. I have emailed a couple and We will compare. Soooo pretty much in the same boat as you are haha. I have contacted the same as you have. Still waitih on some. let me know who you find.

Hey, so I was wondering what you and your fiance were thinking about photographers.....will you guys be going with the resort photgrapher or outside vendor? I got info on pricing for the resort photographer.  I attached it to this post (hope you can open it).  It's reasonable but who knows what this photographer's work is like ????  I did make a list of different photographers that some of the other brides hired from this thread.  I looked them up and sent them messages requesting package/price info.  Once I get that info, I'll compare and see how pricing is as well as how I like their work.  Hope this all works out. I contacted: Del Sol Samuel Luna Sascha Gluck Ivan Luckie Funever photos (I think this is the photographer that the resort uses) I can keep you posted if you like :cheers:   To the other brides out there.....do you recommend any other photographers that I haven't contacted yet??? I'm not getting married until 2015 and all the comments about over charging is having me second guessing this resort. I have no problem with paying for actual fees and services but, I don't appreciate a venue being sneaky and trying to get over. Especially when we know some things are already over priced so to add more is just unprofessional and bad business. Having a destination wedding works for us and is still cheaper than a wedding here but, I don't want to deal with the frustration and aggravation that seems to be involved. Being stressfree is one of the reasons we chose to get married away. I have also read the good reviews where everything turned out fabulous so I am definitely torn on whether to stay with this resort or not. Decisions decisions! !!

Just got back from our destination wedding last week and it went perfectly! We both were so happy with how it all turned out. Was very impressed! Will have a review hopefully in the next few weeks. Just catching up with reality now so will keep you all posted!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
