2013 Gran Caribe Real/ Royal Cancun Brides

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone, So we finally got our group block up and running this Monday! We already had 6 people book! I finally feel like we are somewhat able to do something. We want to fly Jet Blue and they only come out 9 months in advance so we still have a litle time before we can book airfare. At least I feel like we are able to really start getting our guests into it now!

Hey Ladies!!!!

How bout i've been following to older posts of The Royal Playa del Carmen weddings bc i didnt realize Gran Caribe 2013 had a forum; my FI just pointed it out to me smh LOL!!! This is great!! Super excited to talk to all the future brides!! Our wedding is set for 2/23/2013. One of our biggest concerns is the talk i've heard bout spring break during that time and @ the Gran Caribe. Have any of you gotten any feedback regarding this?? I really really dont want family and friends to deal w/ flashing or drunkeness LOL. Happy planning!!

O yea  Iwant to do passport invites too! but everywhere we look it's over $200 and i really really dont want to spend that on stuff thats going in the garbage within the month =( any suggestions??

Pretty quiet on my end these days in the planning process. Had ruffled up a few feathers to get what I wanted but now that I got what I wanted, I am pretty content and quiet. I think more activity will happen closer to the date. Now....to focus on saving more money for the wedding! *sigh* lol...

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
