If you are interested in Rashel, I would contact her and book her ASAP.   I believe she already has dates in 2014 taken.  When I contacted her in September 2012 for my May 2013 wedding, she was already booked and so was her team 2.  However, she did some moving around and is giving me her team 2 makeup and team 1 hair.

I believe Aunt Rubys has the biggest capacity at the Suites.  The documents say that you need 100-200 persons to do a private reception there.

Just on the topic of make-up artists ....

My communication with Rashel up until now has been FLAWLESS.  She had been great.  I'll let you know how the make-up turns out NEXT WEEK! :)

I initally wanted to book with Loni Jones and it was a terrible experience it took 4 e-mails back and forth and she couldn't/wouldn't tell me how to book my date with her (i.e., send her a down payment) and then she confused me by confusing me with another bride.  That just screamed "won't show up on the day of the wedding" to me.....her make-up and work is stunning so it's a shame the communication is so terrible.

Is anyone here considering real-touch bouquets, boutonierre's, etc. purchased from Etsy or another vendor for their wedding?  I've been looking on Etsy and they have beautiful wedding packages that are reasonably priced and was definitely considering this over the horrors of trying to communicate and plan with Tai Flora..!

Hi Krystal, I ordered real touch bouquets for my wedding. They turned out really nice and I like the fact that I can keep them after the wedding. I used http://www.plumeriasweddingflowerboutique.com/ to order mine.

I don't know what your budget is, but try Floral Fantasies.  I've had a great experience with my florist so far and they are really good with working with your budget.  If you really want real flowers.

I am having way to many flowers to bring down real-touch so unfortunately that wasn't an option for me.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
