The reception on the beach at IRHS is 60 person minimum based on the last email I got from the WC.

With regard to getting ahold of the WC, my TA was awesome about getting us answers right away especially since she is the one that got us set up at IRHS (we got our TA before IRHS).   Just keep calling and calling!

Ok, I just need to vent:

Two days ago I got together with a good friend of mine who told me that she finally booked her room and then proceeded to tell me (1) her fiance wanted to see if they could get out of coming because of the cost and (2) that she is not able to visit her father in Florida for Xmas because she has to pay for my wedding and that is why she is staying local for the holidays!   I just ignored it, but it is still bothering me.  If I see her tomorrow I am probably going to say "you know you should go to see your father instead of worrying about paying for my wedding."  Golly!  How rude, right??

It will be their loss if they back out. I'd defintely tell her to visit her dad.

perfect i heard it was 50.. i've gotten so much miscommunication between the WCs at beach VS suites resort that i need to figure out the details, i'm starting to not care as much which i'm not sure if this is a good or bad thing ha! when i joined this website, one of the TA's Babs had emailed me and i touched based with her and she was able to get a response from them thank god - the date is still available but they have yet to get back to me directly even though they have all my freakin' paperwork. i'm resending it again but i just get so nervous like where is my credit card and ID keep going if this winds up being the 3rd time its being sent. little bit of a scary thought ya know? I have 3 different TAs trying to help me just lock in my date then i don't need to talk to these people for the next several months. who would of thought this would have been the hard part?

Iberostar Rose Hall Suites is always an AWESOME Choice!!! i mean even there backup Plan is AWESOME should in case it rains lol (Which would Be the Glass Railed Stair Case). Regarding the restaurant - The Steakhouse is Pretty Nice and its not hot, especially knowing that its close by the sea. I'd recommend it for sure!! Especially for a Large Group of over 60+ guest. Second Option would definately be  the Gourmet "Calabash" Restaurant (Indoor).

All THE BEST!!! o/

Have you heard back? I've sent in everything including the contract. Received a confirmation when I sent through the first documents ie. ID and credit card but nothing after the contract. I've assumed my date is secured but will have my TA double check.

I'm in the exact same boat. I heard back from the WC/Nicole after I sent the initial paperwork, but not after the final contract. My travel agent is also trying to get a final answer. I just don't like to assume. It just seems as if once they know they have you booked, then they don't answer for a while til your wedding gets closer. But I am sending out my save the dates, so I want that confirmation first just to be sure.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
