Smith2013 how did you get your date confirmed I have been waiting days for them even to get back to my email. It's getting a little frustrating... How long did it take you to get in touch with someone

Does anyone have confirmation of this?

You're probably referring to an old post of mine ... Rashel DOES NOT get charged a vendor fee. This was confirmed by both Rashel and Nicole from the Suites. You may want to email your WC to get it in writing just in case though :)

Hey ladies! Need some advice for a new destination wedding bride :)

We plan on about 30-40 people attending our wedding (RHS is the top contender for location). How early did you get your save the dates out - and how do you word them? Here's the trick with our wedding: We're not planning to have it until April 2014. We want to get ours out early enough so people get a heads up + time to save. Any advice? When do you send the pricing, group booking information, etc?

Rashel told me the same thing but I have not confirmed with Nicole yet. Rashel said the Suites doesn't have the charge, but the Beach & Grand do.

Thanks everyone!

I have another question: does anyone happen to know what night the Suites has their beach party? I've heard it's Saturday night but wondered if anyone can confirm this? Also does anyone know what exactly happens at the party? Is dinner served on the beach or is it just dancing and drinks later in the evening?

My fiance and I are trying to figure out the cheapest and most efficient way to have a Welcome Party for our guests.

Thanks!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
