Hi Everyone!

This is my first post. I just emailed the IRHS requesting a date in November 2013.  Will be posting in here more once I get a confirmed date and can start working on the details.

I look forward to hearing about all the upcoming weddings!!

Hello all,

I am getting lots of ideas and overwhelmed all at the same time cheesy.gif.

We have a date at IRHS for 8/31/13 Labor Day weekend!

We felt so rushed to pick a date and place so that our guests could be accommodated as best as possible. We got engaged on my birthday 4/28/12 and it has been planning and such since then.

The only thing we have decided are colors-purple and blue

Bridal party- 5 bridesmaid and 5 groomsmen

We are working with a local TA and have blocked 14 rooms already.

Save the Dates to go out in the next few weeks.

We got engaged at Myrtle Beach, SC and after a recent vacation we wrote the names and date in the sand to use on our wedding website.

Hoping to get more wedding planning in soon.

congratulations to everyone! you will have the most amazing time! I am in Punta Cana right now photographing a wedding yesterday and trash the dress today. It was the best decision ever since it rained during our couple portraits after the ceremony. So make sure you work with a photographer who will offer that to you! :)

I think this question has been asked on here before, but I can't seem to find it. I am wondering if the Beach Parties are open to all three resorts. For example, can guests of the Iberostar Beach attend the Beach Party at the Suites?

Also, does anyone one know the times and days for the beach parties? From what I have been able to find so far is the Beach is currently held on Thursday nights and the Suites is held on Saturday nights. I was thinking of doing a bonfire but don't want to do it the same night at a Beach Party if guest of all three resorts can attend. Thanks for any advice!

The rules of the resort in general apply to the beach party (if you stay at the suites you can go to the party at the beach but if you stay at the beach you CAN NOT go to the party at the suites, if you stay at the grand you can go to both parties.) I think the parties start at 8 or 9!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
