Love the idea and thanks for the discount latern info.

Thats a good question... I didn't even think of that.

Hi everyone, We recently got married at the Suites 26 April 2012. I just wanted to let everyone know that I am here to help with any of ur questions, I know how hectic planning a DW could be. I am in the process of writing my review, in the mean time please let me know if you have any questions regarding the resort.

Hello everyone!

I've been reading these message boards quite frequently and really appreciate everyone's advice. We are planning our wedding at the Suites for next June 2013! Woo hoo! I emailed the resort once about two weeks ago, and got a response back from Tiffany last Sunday night saying they had June 11, 2013 open (we had originally wanted June 12 but we'll take what we can get! :) ) Anyways, I responded right away and told her we would take it, and did not hear back. I emailed her again on Friday because I am super anxious but still have not heard back. I know they run on "island time" and I completely understand that, I would just like to be able to send out our Save the Dates. They are all ready to go, all we need is to be able to insert the date and then print them! Anyways, I decided I'm going to call them so I can just get something set in stone. This might be a silly question, but for you brides that have called, did you buy a calling card? I really do not want to use my cell phone as I know the charges are going to be crazy... I don't think my fiance will be too happy with that. :) Surprisingly, I have never called anywhere internationally so I don't really know what I'm doing. I appreciate the help! Thank you!

Yes, I used a calling card. I have found CiCi cards are the best. I'm getting married at the Beach or I would send you on the contract so you can fax it in...maybe there's a suite bride out there that would't mind. It's so nice to have the support of other brides.

Thank you! I will have to try them. I actually got the contract forms from a bride on here and sent them out to them so they have everything they need, I just need that date confirmation! :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
