2013 Iberostar Rose Hall Suites Brides

Recommended Posts

Just wanted to throw this out there... I emailed Nicole yesterday and had a reply 3 HOURS LATER! I couldn't believe it.

I don'y know if anyone else if doing excursions or not but if you are interested I have the hotel's preferred company.. we are booking one and paying for it as a thank you to our guests for coming to the wedding - as of right now it's looking like a catamaran/snorkel/booze cruise-type of thing.  I have quotes from a few different companies I found on my own and then asked Nicole if she had any recommendations.  I emailed Michelle this morning and can let you know if the prices are any better/worse than the outside companies I have quotes from....

Nicole said: "We work with an independent company by the name of Jamaica Tours. The name of the manager is Michelle Johnson you can contact her: red@jamaicatoursltd.com"

Beach baby, I really want a beach reception but havent seen any at Iberostar yet. Could you please send me yours at jonandlaurawight@gmail.com ? Thank you! Laura

Wow, that sounds amazing!!!   Did you book the beach reception yet?  When we were there in May, we saw daily weddings, but only one had the beach reception.  I thought it was great and took pictures - future ideas!!!   We confirmed our date for June 4, 2013!  I am so excited!

Another company to consider for airport transfers and tours is Reggae-Tours.  We used them to book a private tour from Montego Bay to Negril for the day.  Our driver, Nicholas, picked us up at 11:00 a.m.  and we returned back to our hotel around 10:00 p.m.   We made two stops along the way, one to an old sugar plantation and the other to an old fort.  Nicholas took us to Margaritaville in Negril where we ate lunch, laid on the beach and did some shopping and swimming.  Nicholas then took us to Rick's Cafe to watch the cliff divers.  Our final stop was at Ivan's Restaurant where my boyfriend proposed!!  It was the most beautiful, romantic spot you could ever imagine!!    If anyone needs airport transfers or tours, please consider using Reggae-Tours.  We were soooo thrilled with them that we recommend them to EVERYONE!!!   Their contact information is Gregg Connell, 1-876-570-2983.  His e-mail address is connellgregg@yahoo.com.    We are also planning on using their company again when we return next year for our wedding.  They will be taking us to Negril again, to Ivan's, picking us up at the airport and any excursions we choose to go on.  You WILL NOT be disappointed!!!!

Hello all,

A quick update on my battle with Iberostar. I decided that I just couldn't wait any longer for them to reply so I called my phone carrier and added international onto my plan and called them!!!

That was the best idea I have had yet! I called and got all the wedding info in a matter of minutes(after waiting 4 weeks for a reply thatswck.gif). Called back to see if they received my date request and called back again to see if my signed contract was received. After all the calls and waiting I am happy to say I am also an Iberostar Bride. woot.gif June 20, 2013!!! Can't wait!

I just found a great inexpensive photographer for our wedding. I didn't wanna get a million shots as I know my friends and family will be taking them. Roan Robinson offers packages for as low as $450. I'd be happy to send the package or contact info to anyone.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
