When I called I did not get anymore info than what is listed on the website. I've now decided to go through a TA for the cruise and on board wedding. The TA still has to go through the wedding department through carnival but I have found they are giving her more info than they gave me. I am doing the package that is 1 1/2 with a DJ, open bar, apps, and for 20 people. That is all I know so far...I'm sure after I actually pay for the package they will send info about the rest. :)

I have booked my wedding on the Breeze for June 22 sailing in the port of Miami. I have had the wedding booked and paid for since August 2012. So far my wedding planner has only e-mailed me once, it said she would give me a call but has failed to do so and im only 5 months away from my wedding. Every time I call to talk to her, she is not in. Kinda frustrating but what can you do. As for the Decor... as far as I know you cant do much of your own, and wont have the time anyways. You do get VIP boarding and should only have about an hour or two on the ship before the ceremony starts. They only guarantee that the groom and brides stateroom will be unlocked before the ceremony so you might want to tell your guests to be fully ready for the ceremony before they board the ship. The bride and groom are only allowed to bring aboard one carry on bag each, so you have to make sure that everything you need for the wedding is in that bag. You are allowed to bring garment bags as well but all of your luggage for the sailing will have to be put through customs as normal and you will not receive them until after the wedding when they are delivered to your stateroom. You are charged 9.20 per guest that will attend the wedding (for the lido buffet) unless they are sailing guests. I booked the deluxe romance package. The DJ, Videographer and pictures are not included in the price. There is only 1 DJ and he is booked first come first serve! The deluxe romance package accommodates up to 20 guests, it is an additional $30 per guest unless they are under the age of 7. Carnival told me that i can put in requests for the ceremony to be held in a certain are but that it is only a request, not a guarantee. Hope this helps you all out a little. I will be finding out more as the date draws near...I found out all the pricing and package info on carnivals website, if I remember correctly its on the bottom of the page and either says "carnival weddings" or " special occasions" something like that. Congrats to all of you ladies and best of luck!

@futureMrsWilson, Who is your coordinator?  Sasha has been helpful so far and mine isn't until 2014.

Someone said that they needed pics of ceremony locations.  Give me your email, and I will send what they sent me. Congrats, future Breeze brides!

The recently trapped Carnival cruise ship Triumph may forever symbolize the perfect example of travel difficulties. The incident has highlighted the problem of travel insurance. When is it smart to buy travel insurance and when is it not? The fact that you won't be responsible for finding the money to put it right, is also the time when you are already stressed out. That is why the primary benefit of travel insurance is the knowledge that when something goes wrong while you are abroad, you can easily can a hold on to as it Covers the cost of emergency medical treatment. • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
