Time flew this past year!  Can't believe how close we all are! Youre doing awesome Speckles. I still have a lot of loose ends to tie up . . . make  menus, make wedding day iteneraries, send out brochures and luggage tags, find sand ceremony kit, buy guest book, write vows, make tags for favors and oot bags, pick out ceremony and reception songs, etc.  Hopefully next time i get on here, ill have some of these caught up!  How is all the rest of you girl's planning coming?

I agree, time flew SOOO fast, it's not even funny.   2 months from today I leave for my trip!!

Last night I finished making Luminary bags..what's left is this:

-Get wedding shoes died

-Groom and Groomsmen need shirts

-Make welcome booklets for all guests to go with their tickets

-Order wedding favors.

-chase up brooch bouquet - it was supposed to have a mid-september delivery, and I haven't heard anything from the girl since May..I tried emailing her and facebooking her but she's not replying.

-make dance playlist (well actually one of my BM should be doing this, so I need to make sure she does!!)

-order freeze dried rosepetals for the aisle.

-have a meeting with our photographer to make our plans for the photography on the wedding day, and the ttd, and the rehearsal photos.

-Go for final dress fitting (remind BM to get their dresses fitted, and GM to get their pants hemmed)

-Get accessories for dress

-buy my makeup

PACK!!

uummm..I'm wracking my brain for what else I need to do..

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
