OOT Bag ideas for a wedding in Mexico

Recommended Posts

Hi Ladies

We are getting married in Riviera Maya and we want to do OOT bags  for our guests. We will be having around 20 people but I just can't think of what to put in them. I love thought about a few basics like sun screen, bug spray, and a sewing kit but I can't really come up with anything else. We want them to be useful and fun,

Thanks for any help you can give.

Hey Angela! Here's some info I've been collecting on what to put in OOT bags, here's some ideas: Map of the resort Tylenol mini pack Pesto bismol chewables Aloe Vera "Shout out" pen Hand sanitizer Bandaids Chapstick Bubba keg -- to fill up to take to the beach so there are less back and forths to the pool bar? Not sure if there are bars at the beach actually. This could also be handy if you have a tour day with your guests too. Zip lock bags or something for people to put their money inside so it's kept dry. Hair ties ...small little things that people may forget to pack but likely use on the trip. :) Hope that helps! P.s. Now this may not matter...but I'm also getting married at Barcelo Maya Palace and it'll be mine and fiancé's 12 year anniversary! Super cool. Big huge congratulations!!! I'm sure you feel it's been a lonnnnnggggg time coming too. Lol. Cheers and all the best w planning!

Will you share the list when you're done?

Love this idea -- key/tip holder with spanish essentials on the back! I can see my guests actually trying these out during the day if they are right there on their key holder/

I really like that.  I'm saving on my pinterest board to use as well.  Thanks for posting.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
