I really hope it goes back down for June!  Some of my group went ahead and booked because they are afraid the flights they want are filling up to quickly, but I just can't stomach the nearly $800 per ticket they are paying!  The travel agent says they more than likely will go back down, but hopefully not before the flights are all full!

Sigh I am also flying out of NY/NJ area for our upcoming May Wedding (apparently was off peak) and they are nearly $600 roundtrip and thats connecting. I am so sad and just dont know what to do as many people are thinking of getting a refund on their hotel accomodations because they cant afford to fly there. I just dont know what to do, they ask do I think fares will go down and  I wish I knew =(

I totally understand! We just booked our air today! We paid $824 round trip first class..for his ticket and I used miles for mine to upgrade ticket which in the end was about $500! . We figured no fees to check baggage, dress is in the closet, and we can check up to 3 bags each up to 70 lbs... no fees so we don't have to ship down all our favors welcome bag stuff etc! I have been checking airfare daily for months on end! We started to get really nervous and finally booked since flights direct from Newark were filling up! I would tell guests to check Expedia or cheap carribean for package dels! My family members got 6 days 5 nights for $1500 per person in the reserve at paradisus Palma real! The ppr is even less! The closer it gets the cheaper the hotel rates get! Making up for high airfare Good luck

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
