Hi, I am new to this site and I love it! So much great information...and so good to share tips with other DW brides.

I'm getting married in May 2012 in Montego Bay and am looking for a few vendors....it is a Hindu/Catholic wedding. I'm looking for a hairstylist, a mehndi artist (for one of the Indian functions) and a videographer. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I visited Jamaica last year and checked out a bunch of resorts in Montego Bay. If anyone has any questions..let me know - I'll try and answer if I can!

Thanks so much :)

Jaya

I think the best videogrqapher there in Jamaica is Roxroy. You may have to google him but he does great cinematic work. I am bringing mine (www.threeringweddings.com ) from the states with me but they are quite pricey when you include travel expenses. Their work is the best I have ever seen and I am all about the memories so I wouldn't have it any other way. If you contact them be sure to let them know you got their info from Felicia Miller :)

Jaya - I got married at Moon Dance Villas this past July and used Rashel Edwards as my makeup artist - she is a GENIUS!! We also used her hairstylist, Fiona - also brilliant at what she does.

I agree with meeshamillz and think Roxroy of RG Weddings is the best videographer local to Jamaica. We used him and although it did take a bit of waiting to get the video, it was 100% worth it!! He was recommended by our photographer, Sun Gold (the best!).

I really wanted to book Rashel Edwards but she's already booked for my wedding date.  Do you guys know any other make up artists that do airbrushing?

Hi MrsBuhari2012! Congrats on your wedding. I have heard about this makeup named Antoinette Bailey. She does airbrushing. My friend told me about her. I plan on using her for my wedding in 2013 (haven't set a date as yet lol) You can contact her at a-baileyMUA@hotmail.com or 876-541-1860. Her prices are good. I'm excited to use her.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
