Amazing pics! You look stunning, thanks for posting.  Ok, this is gonna sound really distasteful and I hope I don't offend anyone...but I really want an authentic Jamaican to perform our ceremony - I notice that yours was caucasian - please tell me he had a Jamaican accent!!

thanks,

Sarah

My fiance and I are in the final stages of securing our date :) but it seems that most of the 4pm slots are taken.. :( so we are trying to figure out what we would do with our guests if our ceremony were at 2pm.. any suggestions?? also knowing that another wedding is taking place at the sameish time (reception anyways) did anyone run into any hiccups in the booking? how does it work?

If anyone has input or suggestions I would totally appreciate it!! Can't wait to see more pictures and hear more reviews!!!

Hey Ashley...

Same thing happend to us and we booked a year and half in advance...

we chose the 2pm ceremony time... and even tho it was pretty hot it worked out perfectly.

Our guests didnt mind the 2pm time.... they went and cooled off in the pool, had some drinks and hung out in between ceremony and reception....

It was great for us... we went back to our room to cool off and spend a few moments together... then had a solid 2 hours for pictures... which.. at a resort that huge and beautiful...you will need !!!

all in all it worked out perfectly with the 2pm ceremony.

the only time we ran into another wedding was after our reception when we all went to the lounge above the blue lagoon... we didnt want the sweaty gross club so we went to the lounge and there were 2 other brides up there.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
