Seating chart/table number ideas!

Recommended Posts

Depends on what your theme is. My suggestion is that you look at the planning journals part of this forum. A lot of brides have put up their planning journals with details and photos. It might help generate some ideas for you. Another option is to do a search on theknot.com; they have a ton of photos that are searchable.

Good luck!

My FI and I have done a lot of travelling together, so we've decided to name our tables after places we have been instead of using numbers. We will have a photo of us on each table taken in that country. Then we will have a vintage style world map for our seating plan with a list of the names of people sitting in each country. Hope that helps. :)

LOVE this idea! I've used it for weddings in the past too! I would only suggest putting a table numbers somewhere on the back of the photo or table card for the serving staff. They usually ask for that :)

This is the best photo I could find of the map/table plan, We had 5 tables for our wedding and we chose our 5 favourite cities/countries that were spread out across the map - San Francisco, New York(oor, Italy (where we got married), Beijing and Sydney.

450 These were on the tables.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
