I am excited to read about the T&C brides planning!  We have just decided that we are getting married in T&C this October (we were slow making the final decision).  Now that we know this much, we have to work out all the other details!  I would love recommendations for photography and for a band for our reception.  Let me know!  Thank you!

Hi All!  I'm getting married at The Gansevoort Dec 8, 2012.  So far I've run into a few snags with the special events coordinator leaving the company.  I've been waiting since March 1 for my contract and just only now received a rough contract.  I'm a little nervous that I'll fall between the cracks again.  My back up is Grace Bay Club.  I've decided to reach out on my own to different vendors for flowers, cakes, etc.  Brilliant photography is amazing.  We used them in Feb '12 to take our engagement photos.  Now I'm wondering if I shouldn't hire a planner bc my confidence in The Gansevoort is not 100%.  I'm so glad there are others on here getting married in T & C and also The Gansevoort!!

Hi I'm getting married at The Gansevoort as well in December.  I'd love to chat with you to see where your at with the planning.  I've had some difficulty since Dorell's departure.   I've decided to reach out to outside vendors on my own bc I've fallen between the cracks.  My email is [email protected] if you have  a moment.  It would be good to compare notes.

I'm getting married at The Gansevoort Dec 8, 2012.  I'd love to talk to you guys about the venue and what stage you are at with The Gansevoort.  I had been waiting since March 1, 2012 for a contract and only just now received something.

Hello,

I am new to this website and for some reason I can't start a new thread??

I am very newly engaged and we are planning our wedding for the summer of 2013 in Turks and Caicos; probably July or August. I have been looking around online trying to find more budget friendly accommodations for my guests and found the Sibonne. It has really great reviews and I'm now considering staying there as well and having the wedding on the beach there. Does anyone have any experience with the Sibonne? The reviews I'm finding online are all great, including some couples that have had their weddings there.

I'm also wondering about activities for my guests. I would be happy sitting on a beach for two weeks doing nothing at all, but I do have at least one very well traveled couple coming and they enjoy seeing the culture of their destinations. Can anyone offer some advice as to activities for them other than the usual Catamaran, etc?

We are thinking of spending our second week on Grand Turk as there seems to be some really neat stuff there too.

Thanks for any and all advice :)

Hi ladies,

My name is Karey Williams and my Turks and Caicos wedding is now officially 20 days away.  I am getting so excited.  We planned our wedding over a 15 month period and interviewed a ton of vendors.  We originally started at Gansevoort where we got engaged, but had issued and moved to Grace Bay Club.  Our rehearsal is at Bay Bistro and they have been amazing.

If anyone has any questions, I am more than happy to help.  Enjoy all the planning...it is crazy, but well worth it :)

Karey

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
