Recommended Posts

Jill that is a damn busy next few weeks. Unfortunately I am there with you. This week I have to make a cake and then go to a surprise 50th bday party for my mom's husband (can't miss it and will have to stay all night). Then I have my shower on Sunday. Next week I have a girls night on Saturday and then my niece's 2nd birthday on Sunday, so I have to also make another cake. The weekend after that I have My sister's 1 year wedding anniversary and Canadian Thanksgiving weekend. The weekend after that is the stagette and that is the weekend before we leave. The weekend we leave I have a bunch of appointments set up. lol Its going to be a crazy few weeks. I am scared.

I can't wait to see your pics though, I am so excited for you.

WOW! Great job there chica on all of the fantastic projects. It's so amazing to see everything come together towards the end of the planning. It makes me excited to know there is an end to the madness! Everything looks really really good. I love the centerpiece ideas...those will look great! Can't wait to finally see all of the pics from the wedding when it all comes together! elefant.gif

Everything looks so awesome! I can't believe your wedding is only a month or so away. All of your DIY projects came out beautifully. I hope I have just as much luck when my time comes! I've already saved your templates to my "Wedding" folder. Where did you get the plastic covers for your luggage tags?

I can't wait till your wedding day arrives especially since I'm getting married at the same resort. I've been patiently waiting for you and Susan to get married already so I can get the full report! I'm sure everything will be great :o)

I think the paper I bought was cardstock, so its heavy, and I got metallic it has a pretty sheen to it, just in case you're not sure what you want.

And girls, just so you don't feel so bad about not being done with stuff, I also don't have a good printer at home, so I print everything at my dad's and only go there once every one or two weeks, so I had to get them printed when I had the time.

Thank you! I can't take credit for the templates, I think some of them were from Stephanie & some from Sarah.

Don't worry, Susan and I will both give a complete report when we return.

Oh, the plastic things for the luggage tags I got at walmart, they came 12 in a pack, I think they were $2 or $3. They sell them at staples too, but they were like $5 I think, I made 3 per person, so it adds up when you have to buy a bunch of them!

And for all of you that are DIY challenged, I am sooooo not a Martha Stewart, I never could have done all of these projects without help from the forum!

I wish I could get the stuff done at work. First its crazy busy, second the PC is old and crappy and third the printer is even older and crappier. lol So I have to do it all at home. Oh and tonight I am going with my sister to look at houses, so that means nothing will get done tonight.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
