Rehearsal/Welcome Dinner Dress

Recommended Posts

Ann - did you end up checking out White chicago? I noticed that Elegant Bride magazine has an article this month about Chicago bridal shops. Another tip to save money is that if you are ever anywhere near Minnesota, they have no sales tax on wedding dresses.

I actually have an appointment at White in 30 min ( I need to tear myself away from this site!).

And I am going to MN this weekend to house shop, I finally closed on my condo here in Chicago, so now we're free to buy a house in MN.

That is one thing I miss about MN, no sales tax on clothing (but I wasn't sure if this applied to wedding gowns) - I was born and raised there, I just moved to Chicago a year ago to be closer to Paul. Whenever we visit MN, Paul buys all sorts of clothes, he's a bigger shopper than I am!

I'll let you know how it goes ...

Hi all!

Just wanted to say thanks for posting all the cool dress pics, and a big thanks to whoever recommended bluefly.com. They have such awesome stuff! I am way, way, way far away from looking for a RD dress, but I know one place I'll be shopping for it!

Thanks again!

Carol

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
