Hey Susie, I am not a bride from MN, I am the mother of a bride from Mpls! There are a few of us from the Twin Cities on this forum. This forum is a great resource for you. I cannot think of anything that one of our brides has not encountered. There are always "bride-sisters" who will give advice, when asked, support, whether asked for, or not, encouragement and ideas. Post often and let us get to know you. Ask for help. We are always here for one-another.

Congratulations and best wishes on your forthcoming marriage.

Aloha Suzie! Hope you and Colin have an awesome wedding Maui is the best! be sure and eat at Maui Tacos great cheap food....kimo's is awesome too...Mama's fish house is well worth it but go for lunch rather than dinner better views and better prices....go for it and get the Jeep rental. Its fun....and be sure to do the seven sacred pools...bring sunblock with Deet in it the mosquitos there are very hungry....and wear your swimsuit and get in the big one with the falls...just awesome! be sure to make out in that pool. wink.gif

also the Hula grill in Whalers village is awesome...get in the bar with the sand floor closer to the water it just kicks butt....and get the Poo Poo platter at the Hyatt on the tiki torched patio area at sunset. Its sweet! wink.gif

best wishes,

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
