Kristyn's Playa del Carmen Planning Thread 1~6~12!!!!!!!!!!!

Recommended Posts

WOWZA!!!  What an amazing thread!  My sister is planning on having her wedding at Playacar Palace and looking at your pictures I can tell that we will all LOVE IT!!!  She sent me your link and I think you really helped with her decision!  How did everything go while you were down there?  Any tips or suggestions??  And at the risk of making this long I just have to say that I LOVE all the little details you put into it!  The brochures for travelers, the gift bags, ALL OF IT!!  Congrats to you and your HUBBY!!!

Hey girls!  Sorry, for the delay!  AJane, you guys will LOVE it!  The place is beautiful and the staff really go out of their way to accommodate you.  If Wilma is still there, I would try to get assigned to her.  She set everything up flawlessly, so much so that we gave her an extra 60 bucks at the end as a tip.  She was phenomenal!

And Cindy, I actually had a woman here in Philly do them!  If you want to contact her to see if she would do through e-mail, her address is riley4@verizon.net and her name is Theresa from Creative Crafts.

Good luck and best wishes ladies!!  xoxo

Thanks!

I am absolutely obsessed with your DW pictures! Kristyn you were beautiful and absolutely glowing!

Going off of Jessica's question as to why it's the best complimentary package - couple questions, did you supply the chair sashes and flowers for the complimentary ceremony? Did you do the symbolic or regular ceremony? And last but not least (I think), where did you guys have your reception dinner at? It looks like you guys opted for the party reception afterwards as well which looks like a blast! In an effort to save money though, I think we are going to just do the complimentary symbolic ceremony followed by the complimentary dinner and then maybe head to 5th Ave or something for dancing. But suggestions are more than welcome!

Thanks and congrats!

Lindsey

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
