I was wondering what site you used because everything I'm find is in the $600-700 range leaving from houston.

so far my flight JB that im stocking went dow 100$:) in the morning. But i fint it weird that when i look at the seats via orbitz i only see 8 seats available and the rest shown like already booked. When i look at JB site it shows only 7bought and the rest available. weird....

Skygirl - the airlines only designate (or sell) a certain number of seats/tickets to sites such as Orbitz, Expedia, Kayak, etc. they hold the rest for direct booking. So all the seats will still be available after Orbitz exhausts its inventory - either through other sites or JB directly.

I'm seriously jealous! NY flight has gone UP $100!!! O_O  I'm seriously hoping that this will not last long.....

Oct 15, 2012 Paradisus Punta Cana Bride here! I'm really excited as well. The more I read the more behind I feel. We've been engaged for 2 weeks and have been on the planning train going full speed. We've booked our resort and wedding package. But it seems like there is still so much left to do. We mailed the save the dates out yesterday. Is anyone else suffering from a lack of sleep? I work full time and go to school full time.

Trust you are WAY AHEAD of the game! We didn't even look at resorts until 2 months after we were engaged and sent out STD 4 months after. There is a lot to do but you've got the basics down. The hardest part is deciding on a resort and letting people know. I can see how your schedule will have you suffering from lack of sleep. WOW! But just take it one day at a time, it'll all work out. Def don't beat yourself up , with your schedule I'm amazed you've gotten as much done as you have.

I actually find myself looking for things to do these days as I booked photographer, DJ, resort and found dresses for bridal party and myself all in 3 weeks. Maybe that's why I'm obsessed with OOT bags now... hmmmm.

Hello Future Brides!!!

I'm getting married October 27th, 2012 @ Paradisus Punta Cana! I feel like time is flying and the wedding is around the corner = /

My brother just got back from DR yesterday and sort of freaked me out regarding the rain in October in DR. I could barely sleep last night stressing this! I already sent out the STD's so I really don't want to change my date.

(sorry needed to vent a little to my October brides!)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
