Reception after wedding

Recommended Posts

Okay so I may be premature on this , I don't have a appt to speak with my WC until the end of July, I am a planner and panicker and my wedding is July 31st 2012. Still 8 months away but feels like every day is trickling by and if something is not completed that day I feel like I am wasting time.

Ok any who, I was wondering what some brides did after their Sandals wedding. I am expecting about 20 guest so I do think that I want to have the sit down dinner I think it was $50 a person, all my guest are most deffiently staying at the resort, so what did everyone do after, did you go dancing with your group did you do something special. My wedding is at 4pm so I'm assuming that the dinner will be around 5:30 or so and than that will run till like 7:30 , that just seems so early.... any suggestions!!

My sister is getting married there at 4pm on June 19th.  (I am June 21st so our family could be at both weddings) She's going to also do the 2 hour reception and we figured since by then it would already be after 7pm that most people would probably end up just hanging around and partying with each other anyway.  We are all staying at BSB so it makes it easy to get back to the room after celebrating all night!  We do have kids that will be there too so unless the bride and groom ditch the kids for the night going out to a club is off the table for them.

Good luck with your planning!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
