Wants a tiny ceremony with just the two of us

Recommended Posts

Long story short...husband is overseas so we had a small ceremony at my moms house last December. We decided that we will go to Riviera Maya when he gets back and we'll have a renewal ceremony there and that will be our "real" wedding and have a big party back at home with friends and family (with food, DJ etc)

SO how do I go about this small ceremony?? Am I able to book anywhere and they will have a Justice of Peace available? What about finding a location? I want it on the beach. I'm afraid I'm really a newbie at this and any information will be a big help!!

Every package Ive looked at says they can do a party of 2 to however many you want.  Just have to look at the different resorts and see where you guys want to go.  Really its an awesome idea, you dont have to factor anyone else in to it, or the cost of having the wedding in mexico, other then the ceremony costs.  Most resorts would have on there website if they having wedding services. Most of them do.

Yup exactly , easy enough.  Some have more options then others. There is a thread on here with just pictures of different resorts wedding Gazebos. Seems to me most of them either have it on the beach or at a Gazebo.  Call the hotel or just narrow down your search to a few and look on there websites or try and find them on here, Tons of info in the forums for specific resorts.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
