I wanted to share these since looking at everything everyone else has shared on here has inspired me so much. My FI was originally inspired by the STD vintage post cards. Since we did an email STD we decided to incorporate that idea in to our actual invitations.

We created a custom postage stamp on Zazzle.com using one of our engagement photos. I hand wrote all the invites using a gold pen.

We put a gold insert in our envelopes (it had a little shimmer that doesn't really appear in the pic). The postcard is in a petal fold envelope and sealed with a vintage beach sticker.

[back of the postcard] We decided not to do an RSVP card and asked everyone to RSVP on our website (everyone did except one person who stuck a stamp on the postcard and mailed it back to us, LOL).

Thanks! :)

We ordered both the custom postage stamp, vintage beach stamp and return address label from Zazzle.com

I bought all the envelopes (A7 envelope, gold liner and petal envelopes) at the same paper store so I knew they'd match and be the right size. I used a double sided glue tape (similar to this: http://www.paper-source.com/cgi-bin/paper/item/Sticky-Tape-Runner/2903.016/496889.html) to glue the gold liners in to the envelopes. Super easy, just a little time consuming.

I can't take credit for the postcard -- that was all my fiance -- he and a coworker designed them in photoshop and got them printed at a local print shop. (I bet Vistaprint would have been way cheaper than that place, oh well!). I think they borrowed a stamp brush from here: http://www.psd-dude.com/tutorials/resources/stamp-brushes-for-photoshop.aspx and then added the heart and date.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
