LumaPix FotoFusion Users: Would a tutorial thread be helpful?

Recommended Posts

I know that several of us now have the LumaPix FotoFusion software that we're using for collages, siggies, photobooks, etc.

I have had several emails asking for info on how to use the software and it's features. Rather than reply to these individually, I thought maybe we could start a thread and those of us who have the software can share our tips/tricks for the new users. I've learned to use this software purely on a trial and error basis (with some help from Tammy- host in the beginning) and there are definitely some things that I've learned along the way that would have been useful to know from the get-go.

So, please post here if you're interested. I'm on my way out the door for work right now, but I'll check back this weekend and try to post some tips/tricks every now and then, if there is interest.

Also, if there is something specific you've seen me (or someone else) do with this software and want to know how, please post your specific questions!

Sarah... what do you think about starting a little side job for the forum and making them for us girls who just do not have enough time? I do not know the extent of these collages, but I have always really liked yours. I am not married yet, but I think I would be willing to let you do it for us! I am guessing you had to buy the software? So many of us girls went to people like aylee and creative montage for our monograms, because we just did not have the time to create or figure out how to make them! What do you think? Or if you are too busy.. maybe someone else would be interested?

I love everyone's collages...I'm only worried that I'd spend all day and all night playing around with it and never get any work done :)
LumaPix :: FotoFusion

The cheapest version is $40. There is a free trial you get get to play with it. I don't know if it's available for Macs. I downloaded the trial last week. It wasn't as simple as other programs, but that's because it lets you do so much more with your pictures. I'm used to being stuck in a template. I'm tempted to buy it, but I'm going to wait & decide later. I love playing with digital pictures.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
