Well our ceremony is at 4 as well- it was either 2 or 4.  So hopefully we will be fine with taking the majority of our pics before the wedding so we will really only need family pics after the ceremony and then some sunset ones! fingers crossed!!

here's a (non-pro!) photo that was taken right after our ceremony (about 4:30). You can see the sun is pretty low - we got some nice sun-flare shots, but I wish we'd had more light.

I only have 1 pro pic back so far, she sent me an early preview. I should have the full preview by next week! My photog has been emailing me that the pics keep making her cry and she's having a hard time editing them - I think that's a good sign.

I'm back, wedding was fabulous, feeling refreshed!  Am I the only one though that is relieved the wedding is over?  I'm so thrilled to resume normal life again, haha!

I've been back for a few days now...had to get back to normal.  Our wedding at Aventura Cove Palace was AMAZING!  I could not have asked for anything better.  It was windy that day, which was the only thing I would change (but of course couldn't).  My coordinator was awesome, the ceremony and reception were beautiful and everyone had a great time.  It by far exceeded my expectations!

If anyone has any questions, please let me know!  I know I was freaking out before we left, but I promise, everything will fall in to place!!  I'm happy to answer any questions or give tips on how to make some things go more smoothly, just let me know!

I'm so glad it was fabulous Maridr! I was glad the wedding was over, but not glad to get back home to normal life lol Although now I look at my dress (waiting to go to the cleaners), and I want to wear it all over again!

Oh wait...the only thing I meant about resuming normal life was finally having disposable income again and not thinking about the what ifs and wedding planning details every moment of the day lol! I'm so happy to be able to go out and shop if I want to, before it was all about saving $! I haven't gotten around to getting my gown cleaned either. Are you having yours preserved?

well, then in that case I agree with you 100%!! lol

I haven't decided what I want to do with my gown. I really think I want to do a day-after or bridal shoot, or a TTD at some point. Mostly because I want to wear it again!!!!! And then I might try to sell it. As much as I love it, I can't see it sitting in a dress coffin in the top of my closet for the rest of my life...

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
