What are your 3 of 4?  I think I will need a sand ceremony song rather than a signature song as we are not legally getting married in Mexico

We still have to outline all of our music, since we've switched to having a DJ (thank you future MIL!).

I know some of it:

I'm not sure about our guest-seating song yet. I'm thinking Marry Me by Train, and Going to the Chapel of Love by the Dixie Cups

Bride walk will be Bruno Mars' Just the Way You Are, covered by a string quartet (so no lyrics)

Recessional will be Signed, Sealed Delivered by Stevie Wonder

They only told us we needed 4 songs for the ceremony. It should be a quickie!!

Our first dance will be Jason Mraz' I Won't Give Up

Cake & toast - Pour Some Sugar on Me by GNR

Our last 'party song" - I want Living on a Prayer by Bon Jovi

Our last dance - At Last by Etta James

We're gonna have live music at the ceremony - choices are I think mariachi, saxophone, harpist, trio band, or violinist.... I think we're gonna go for the trio band (guitars, bongos/other rhythm instrument) and play the wedding march for when I walk down the aisle.

We still need to decide on the song for when parents/bridal party walk down and recessional. We're thinking a slower Latin song (something by the Gipsy Kings or Buena Vista Social Club) to fit with the theme of our First Dance..... but since it's instrumental, maybe they could play a more popular song like the ones you ladies are listing... if the instrument-only version is recognizable enough.

We're putting them on an iPod for the ceremony.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
