Haha yep! Luckily we have friends that are actually trying to get pregnant now- so that takes the pressure off of us, haha.  I'm going to start saying NEVER lol.

To quote my vulgar husband, he feels as though his sperm is on major lock down. lol the "baby-watch" is crazy! My father asks me everytime we speak...the pressure is ridiculous! He told me the other day "hunny you're not getting any younger" MY FATHER!!! i'm supposed to be daddy's little-girl. sheesh!

He's a great husband, and we're coming up on our 2 month here in a few days. It's hard to believe that was all 2 months ago... it still seems like yesterday!

I know they mean well, but geesh...

Yikes! lol

Luckily I'm only 25 and none of my friends have babies yet (although a few are trying to get pregnant) so the pressure is not as high for me, but people do still make comments!!

Hope everyone has a wonderful married 2013!!! :)

  • 2 weeks later...

How's everyone doing?!?!

We have our open house this weekend- I printed off 800 of the photographers photos and put in Albums- I guess I should finally view our wedding video that my sister's finace taped to see if it's worth showing as well.  As of now we have about 50 people RSVP'ed so I'm really hoping all 50 people aren't in our house at one time or we're going to be a little crowded.  I'm just having snacky mexican food- tacos and mexican lasgana and dips so I hope people don't expect a full meal or full bar or we are going to run out fast- I bought some beer and margaritas and we have sangria and soda.

Has anyone been to an open house party before?  I'm hoping I'm doing this all right- I'm just kind of winging it! loll

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
