HI Everyone!

I've been back for a little while now, but been so swamped. Actually had to fly to cali a week after for work (taking a little break from it now to post!)

wedding was amazing! I definitely had my dream wedding, and I didnt' even think it was possible.  I was never fully comfortable having a destination/outdoor wedding, but soooo glad I did. I'm going to post a full review and pictures, etc soon. Just as soon as this show is over.

Here are a couple of pics to hold you down for now..

  • 4 weeks later...

hey ladies!! how was your first holidays as a married couple??

Ours were quiet, and just wonderful. We elected to stay home rather than fly to see family we just saw 7 weeks ago... smart decision. We did FaceTime with them though so we could watch the kids open their gifts.

looking forward to NYE!

Doncha love it?? How many times have you guys been asked the following questions:

1) do you feel different being married? (yes, it feels more settled, but in a very good way) and

2) when are you having kids? (PLEASE people..)

He's a great husband, and we're coming up on our 2 month here in a few days. It's hard to believe that was all 2 months ago... it still seems like yesterday!

ohh....the "when are u having kids" questions started IMMEDIATELY for us!  So annoying, lol.  The killer is, some of those questions came from friends who complained about the same being asked of them just a few years ago when they got married!  Really...can we please enjoy being married first? I know they mean well, but geesh...

You'd think they would understand and not ask!

then again, I broke my own rule when asking a coworker when she's getting engaged lol

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
