@@HNeal, @ karijean - and anyone else actually - this is kind of a silly question, but in your wedding invitations, what did you name as the location?

 

riviera maya, cancun?

puerto morelos, mexico?

excellence riviera cancun?

@upstatekj - We said Riviera Maya and used the resort's name, as well. I think more people know where Riviera Maya is, so we went with that on the Save the Dates, Invites and RSVPs.

I put Riviera Maya, MX on the save the dates too.  Since I too thought most people kinda know where that is.  Although everyone just says Cancun anyways.

I had a customized "passport" as my invitation so I had a page devoted to the location of the wedding. I had a photo from the resort in the background and then I had the resort name, address and a description of the resort. We should meet up soon! I will bring my invite to show you!

 

PS...Got my pics today from Lucidum Photography and they are amazing! I will try to get those and my review up ASAP. Sorry for the delay everyone.

Have any of the upcoming brides picked your bouquet or any additional decor?  I am having a hard time picking anything at this point.  Maybe because I haven't even picked colors....?

@@Sabes44 I picked a boquet with stargazer lilies.  I'm trying to find centerpieces now. I love candles so I'm thinking floating candles.  Definitely pick your color(s) first then you can google, pinterest items with your colors.  So many ideas out there!

I love candles too!  Definitely want to do something with candles.  I think I finally picked my colors, so that has been helping with ideas and not feeling so lost!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
