I think I saw a few other gals on here doing a photo booth, seemed to work out well bringing their own stuff (it would just depend on the space).

Oh ok lol..I'm buying the welcome bag stuff now and have my 2nd dress fitting next month. I still have to find a dress for my shower and the welcome dinner. Sure I'll be busy up until the last minute. I'm looking forward to my bachelorette party :)

I might as well chime in here as well gals!

We are getting married in ERC on 11 Feb 15. I have started the process with Jessica and other than the pain in the ass to get my fiancee's divorce translated, notarized and then have the translation apostilled. I think things should go smoothly.

We are just doing the basic inclusive package and no stress. Meaning, no photographers, I am sure that my friends/family can take some nice photos and I think I paid 20.00 for a lacy sundress :D

I think me and my ladies will do a spa day just to enjoy the pampering, but no hair or make up. I will likely just put my regular lipstick on. I know we want to look beautiful for this day, but I gotta say I am happy that my guy loves me as I am and I want him to recognize who is walking down that pier towards him.

We got our rings done, both custom jobs by PBR designs in Ottawa and he did an amazing job. Especially since my engagement ring is so dainty, it took a lot of work to get a band to compliment and not dominate it!

I believe it will be 7 in total with me and the groom, so easy peasy pudding pie! (I hope!)

Anyone else here have to get divorce papers done? Basically since it's my first and only wedding, I want it to be completely authentic!

Talk to you soon! Keep up the good posts!

Hi ladies I seem to recall someone is doing a fire show. We are thinking of doing the same rather than get a dj. The way we see it, dj is getting paid to work 4 hours we will have pir first dance as soon as we arrive shortly after 7 dinner will start around 7:30 and probably take 1.5 so that brings us to 9. We also plan to do a Piñata so paying 1300 for essentially 2 hours seems crazy and so were leaning towards doing a fire show for the wow effect. I was wondering if anyone knew how long the show lasts? 30 min is my guess? And was hoping for some feedback on our thought process. Thks ladies

Oh I forgot to mention our group is only 20 and a third aren't big dancers

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
