Excellence Riviera Cancun Brides?

Recommended Posts

Thanks @@JenniferH114!  We definitely splurged on the room too.  But the room was one of the reasons why I ended up choosing Excellence.  I want to make it special for everyone and feel like we are taking care of them for sure.  I also want to make sure we are getting our monies worth and not making guests feel obligated to hang out with us.

I haven't heard anything about the liver percussion and fire show, but sounds cool!

We are going with the gold package and also doing a private welcome dinner for our guests, I thought it would be nice to have everyone together and thank them then head over to the disco and have a fun night!

@@JenniferH114 we had inquired about wish lanters and were told no lanters, fireworks or fire shows.  But maybe you can talk to her and see what she says.

We are hiring a saxaphonist for the ceremony but I'm waiting to hear back from resort who was going to contact the musician directly. Next up is picking the dinner menu and starting to buy items for the welcome bags :)

@@Crystal17 - The fire show with percussion is listed on their entertainment brochure. I haven't asked her about it yet, but that would seem strange of them to list these options without them being available. I'll ask her about it at some point... it's on my list. :)

That is too funny! Yes! I would love to do that! In the mean time feel free to look me up on Facebook. You can find me through Danielle's page.

Oh wow @@JenniferH114 I didn't even see that brochure, thanks!

I'm not sure what night it is but the resort does a fire show for "free" out in the main outdoor courtyard. Check into that before you pay extra. It was pretty good!

@@karijean is right! Last week they had 2 fire shows. One on the beach and one in main plaza. We had a DJ and he was amazing. The night went so fast I don't know that I would have wanted to stop the partying for extra entertainment! Edited by HNeal

Hey ladies, is anyone or has anyone shipped stuff to the resort for your wedding? I'm not sure if I should ship my welcome bag contents ahead of time or bring with me. Not sure if customs will give me a hard time.

Thx!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
