Thank y'all both so much!  I can not even imagine getting that many emails and now I feel bad for being upset! lol!  She said all I needed was to send her my booking number for our room and that confirms the wedding?  Is that what you guys did.  This thread has definitely helped with questions I had!  We are doing this pretty fast as we are trying for July 6th, which she said was available!  Thanks again and congrats to you both!

Don't worry about it. I think we all wondered at first why responses were few and far between. Yes our booking number is what we used to confirm our wedding date and time.

 

Congrats on booking a date, you must be so excited!! It looks like you'll be getting married just before Trisha. The huge benefit of doing a DW is there's a lot less planning for you, so planning it faster than an at home wedding is a lot easier. I don't know if you've done this yet but next up I'd recommend booking a photographer if you're not going to use the resort photographer. There's a lot of great reviews for local photographers on this site under 'vendor reviews'.

Hi KayLynn!

 

I'm getting married July 27 at ERC.  Gloria is great to work with.  She usually takes a day or two to get back to you.  The girls on these boards are great!  I've learned so much.  If you need anything don't hesitate to ask!  Alot of us have docs Gloria sent us regarding flower, food and cake choices.  I love not having to plan very much...shocking since I'm usually a control freak when it comes to stuff like that.

Aside from menu and flowers, I think we will decide lots of details (location of happy hour, ceremony setup, accent decorations, etc) when we meet with her after our arrival at ERC.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
