I have enjoyed looking over your wedding plans and your final wedding photographs and comments. I did want to ask a question about the beach wedding. I know I have read about the crowded beach and small beach space but I had an idea after looking at your pictures. You know where the island comes out and looks like there is some shade close to the water. I think ya'll took some pictures in the water. It kind of looks like it is more green along with having the beach. Would that be a place you could get married at or  would one of the gazebos be a better options such as the one you took on the pier where you and your husband sat down on the ropes? I really wanted to be closer to the water. We are suppose to get married 6/15 at 2pm. Any suggestions would be great!!!! Thank you again for all the information. I am sure I have several questions for you.

Hey, Where we took those pictures is main part of the beach. And it will be very crowded.

Also end of the pier is not a bad idea, but can be windy and it does not cover much in case of rain ( I saw poor groom waiting for his bride in the rain there. He was totally soaked and all their decoration was soaked as well.) If I would choose between beach or pier. I would definitely go with pier. PM me with more questions :D

Thank you :D

I got my cake topper on etsy.com. Seller is mudcards. I would advise to order at least 4-6 weeks ahead, because she is in Israel.

Kat,

I want to thank you again for sending me the wedding locations. I am getting ready to have another phone session with my WC and would like to get a lot of things figured out and put into stone since last time wasn't that productive! So with that said, I have begun starting to have more and more questions, hopefully you are able to offer some help. In regards to the music, did you bring your own, or let them choose? I saw that there was an option to rent a soloist, steel drum band ext. But I am wondering if it's an option to higher someone to play the guitar instead of these choice. I didn't know if that was an option or not. Also, I noticed you had a different photographer, how did Sandals handle that? I have a family member who takes pictures so we are just going to have her take ours, I wasn't sure if they would have a fit though. I am probably over thinking and trying to find things to stress over, but any advice you can offer will be helpful! Thank you sooo much~

Hey, we brought our own music, I had copy on CD, iPod and my iPhone haha I was too scared to not to have it. I did not ask about other options for music. I was afraid to ask for too many things lol, every time I opened my mouth with my phone WC it cost me money :D I asked my WC to not to have any Sandals photographer at our wedding, so they wont be in my photographers way. My photographer shoot two weeding in 3 days and they called her room and asked her about her business. She said that she is our friend and they let her off the hook. We actually spent a lot of time with another couple and our photographer. So yeah, your photographer won't have a problem, but they might ask her some questions. Let me know if you have any more questions. And WC on the phone is not mush of WC, she is more of a sales person.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
