My husband and I renewed our wedding vows in Jamaica Ocho Rios in December 2012.  In my search for a wedding organizer I communicated with multiple wedding vendors as our budget was very tight.   Among all, I found Dawn to be the most kind, professional and caring.  She was always very prompt in replying to my e-mails, always answering every single question, always respectful.  I trusted Dawn with organizing our symbolic wedding because during our conversation she showed numerous times that she CARED!  When it comes to the wedding, its not about money, its about someone’s happiness and Dawn is a clear example of a wedding organizer who feels this way.   Dawn went an extra mile to make this happen for my husband and me, and I cannot be thankful enough.  We felt safe and worriless to have her.  She has a very warm personality and is very easy to get along with.  We had our wedding on the beach and Dawn made everything very beautiful: an aisle of flower petals, planted palms and a beautiful arc.  The Minster who performed our ceremony was great!   Dawn exceeded our expectations!  I recommend Dawn Sherman to anyone as she is a great caring person who can be trusted and she will make your wedding day special!

We just returned from our 10th anniversary trip to Negril and were lucky enough to find Dawn and enlist her services for our renewal ceremony. It was absolute PERFECTION. We had a hard time finding someone who would do the ceremony for us as it was on a Sunday (Easter Sunday no less!) but Dawn didn't hesitate to offer to help. She and the Rev. Trevor Ruddock were kind enough to give up time on their Sunday to help us have a very memorable experience. The setting was perfect - a small beach setting away from crowds with a makeshift musician on site to strum along on his guitar. The ceremony was to be at 4 but was delayed due to rain which made it even more perfect as the sun was setting. The flower archways and flower heart on the beach were loved by all. The ease and simplicity of the entire process was fantastic. And Dawn - you are a wonderful loving person who obviously loves what they do. My entire family commented on how lovely you were!

 

I thank you from the bottom of my heart for making our 10th anniversary/renewal ceremony something to be remembered forever.

 

I would recommend Dawn and Jamaica Elegant Weddings to anyone looking for a ceremony that isn't the cookie-cutter 'resort style' offered ...trust me, you won't regret it!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
