Dawn Sherman from Jamaicaelegantweddings.com is amazing!!! She treated me like family! My husband and I wanted to renew our vows in Jamaica and had no idea where or what to do.  I fortunate enough to find her online. She was absolutely wonderful.  She was quick to respond to all of my emails and answer all of my questions.  She picked a wonderful waterfall location at YS Falls and planned the whole day.  She picked us up at the resort and we drove to the falls.  When we got there, we had our own entourage.  It was wonderful.  We were there early enough that it was nice and quite.  She found us a photographer who was fun and personable and took amazing pictures!!! Dawn set up the perfect location with the falls in the background, complete with rose petals and floral arrangements.  The pastor gave a beautiful ceremony. It was better than our actual wedding.  She had a nice linen table set up and we had champagne and drinks and an amazing wedding cake!  After the ceremony she arranged for us to have a couples massage in the gazebo by the falls. It was wonderful and exactly was we needed.  After the massage she had prepared us a delicious lunch along with local fruits to try.  Every member of her team was friendly and relaxing and accommodating.  My husband and I stayed as long as we wanted.  We ended up doing the Canopy Tour while there and our photographer followed us around and got amazing pictures.  Never once did we feel like we were being rushed, we had a great time   Dawn planned the perfect day for us.  She knew exactly what I wanted more than I know what I wanted. Not to mention the price was right. After the day was over, I realized what a "steal" I got!! We stayed as long as we wanted.  When we did leave and headed back towards our resort, dawn stopped by some local vendors to have us try some local cuisine.  The day could not have been more perfect and I know it was because of Dawn and all of her hard work.  I know that I have made a new friend in Jamaica.  I would recommend her to anyone who wants to get married in Jamaica.  She thinks outside the box and will work not only within your budget, but with any requests you might have.

Congrats!!  Dawn is truly a gem, great person to work with. She did a fantastic job for my sister who got married in Negril, everything exceeded our expectations.

Sounds like you had a wonderful time,photos are fabulous. We are thinking of going to YS Falls when we visit in February, we definately want to do the canopy. Will have Dawn book it for us.

I want to second that--Dawn Sherman is amazing! She is very kind and helpful. She is reliable and trustworthy. We had our ceremony on the beach April 2012. It was beautiful. There were flowers had the aisle to palm plants. The rev. was very nice as well. I was an anxious bride but you do not have to be with Dawn. 5 star service!!!

I have been corresponding to her via email for the past couple of days. She seems really nice and responds super fast. I am a LOT apprehensive about this whole process. I have never been married, which is already stressful, and add to that the process of sending money to people that  you can not see and touch to plan such an important day. Anyone who has had an experience with this company, please send me any and all info you have!! This is all very exciting to me, but nerve wrecking at the same time. HELP!!!!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
