$450: Boudoir Shoot + $100 print credit
$300: Engagement + $100 print credit
$700: 2 plane tickers
$1000: 3 nights stay at hotel
$800: Album
$?: Misc. expenses, as we will be treating them as a guest

So about $7,000

That's scary to look at, but it is worth it to me!!!

This is pretty decent pricing. I think you did well assuming you got someone with experience and a great portfolio wink.gif

I am paying $1,050 for 2 1/2 hours of pictures and all my images on a CD. I am hiring Erick Rodriguez from Claudia Rodriguez's team.

2 1/2 hours probably doens't sound like a lot, but it will work for us. We are not havinga private reception, so I don't want pictures taken during dinner. So we have a photographer before the wedding to take pictures of us when we first see each other & a few more pictures while my hair & makeup are still fresh. Then they will photograph the ceremony, do some group shots & take pictures of us on the beach.

I'm not leary at all! She's just building her destination wedding portfolio and is offering a great deal. Her work is great; she's actually a member of this forum and I can't wait for her to photograph my wedding.

I have the same package and cannot wait for her to shoot my wedding! Her work is fantastic, and many of the girls on here are using her. I feel lucky to have gotten in for her portfolio building package :)

i ended up getting a portfolio building package too! Different photographer though! he's from Seattle (and possibly his wife... but she's due in November and isn't sure if she's coming yet). Anyway, for just over $2,000 they will be staying with us for four nights and photographing everything! I'm SOOO excited!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
