MJKH - Wedding week survival bags are done!!! Lots of pics : )

Recommended Posts

I've been watching for them in the dollar bins at Michaels, but I haven't seen them again.  I'm sure if/once they're back in stock there will be a wave of messages going out over BDW! ; )

Hi MJKH, if you see any, please let me know, I've been looking all over for them!

You bet!  I don't get over there as much as I used to...but I still find myself roaming the aisles once a week or so for our AHR.

Hi ladies...thanks for the compliments! : )

The bags I purchased were 8 X 10 at a large craft wholesaler in Regina...but I would check restaurant wholesale stores in your area too...they worked great!  They didn't have a zip lock top, but we didn't need that as the bag was folded over at the top and stapled to the card.

I've pulled these templates out of my Vistaprint portfolio for you to look at:

Fridge magnets that went out with our Christmas cards...

Our "Passport to Paradise" cover was an oversized postcard printed with a solid pink back...right justified and trimmed along the left side (to fit in the passport cover)...with the corners punched round...

Oversized postcards used for the wedding week survival kit and the snack packs (distributed at the resort)...

Glossy business cards with a solid colour back were cut in two and tied on to each pashmina...

Glossy business cards printed with a solid colour back were used as placecards and attached to a box of chocolates at the reception...if my maraca buying experience had gone better, I would have attached one with a ribbon to each maraca as a placecard...

Hope that helps!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
