Anyone married at Sandals Royal Caribbean? Help!

Recommended Posts

I am getting married there in June. I am nervous because isn't very much info about weddings there. Can you give me some friendly advice? Did you do any of the Martha Stewart packages? Was there anything you loved/or even felt you wish you had done or hadn't done? I'm really desperate here and would love to hear back from you. Do you have any pictures? I'd really appreciate any advice you can give me! Also, what are OOT bags?

Hey! Welcome to the forum.

It is a lot of info at once, but once you start going through it, it gets better. I felt really overhelmed too.

OOT bags are out of town bags, usually give to your guests at the resort to say thank you for coming. Contains small things, or not. You can out anything in it. You should look through Sandals website and there are some reviews here, read it and decide what you want.

Most of the brides go with Beautiful Beginnings package and do some add ons on it.

This is what I am doing myself. Also if you would like to spend more, go  with the look you want. Just remember that they charge you for everything. I was afraid to talk to my WC haha, cause everytime I would open my mouth, it would cost me more and more lol.
I am sure you will figure it out, just go with the theme you like and go from there!

Good Luck! and Happy Planning!

I went to google images and typed in Sandals Royal Bahamian weddings and got a lot of photos, you can also you tube it and get a few real weddings. I will try to remember when I return to let you know how it went.  msnparty.gif   We got the basic package with the honeymoon but added a longer reception.

Ladies if you haven't already you may want to check out the Facebook page called Fans Who Love Sandals Weddingmoons group. It was helpful to me and the moderator specializes in Sandals Weedingmoons and there are also pictures from wedding as well . Hope this helps!

CJCSRC- How was your wedding?? CONGRATS!! I am getting married at Sandals Royal Caribbean on Sept 18th,2012. I am extremely excited but starting to stress about some of the details considering that every little extra thing comes with a big price tag. I was hoping to throw a beach party for all my 30 guests following our rehearsal dinner with a band & bonfire etc but it is going to be almost $2k. Can you tell me how the nightly entertainment was? WouldIi be better off planning a private party or is there plenty of fun & authentic options we could take advantage of for free? I really want to find a way to thank everyone for coming down but hopefully in a cost effective way. We are staying in a Swim up suite for 10nights...im hoping this experience will be amazing!! Thanks for ANY kind words of advice, and hope you had a magical wedding!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
