After looking through this forum daily for about a month, we have decided to get married at the RUI Palace Riviera Maya in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. We have stayed at a couple of the RUI chains and we loved them. My aunt got married at the RUI Palace Mexico and it was very nice. 

 

Since I will be on maternity leave in 6 weeks, I'm hoping to get a lot of things out the way.I did look at a couple of forums about RPRM, but I have not seen any recent brides getting married there. We have a date of May 11, 2013 but that can change to June 11, 2013.. 

 

Anyway I wanted to know if there is there anyone else out there who has considered this resort, any information they have found, and any other information out there about the resort from current and past brides... I have been on thier website and looked at the packages they offer but more information would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there,

 

The RIU Playa del Carmen is beautiful.   I have heard great things about the resort.  As well it is right in Playacar, a great area in Playa del Carmen, which is very convenient for you and your guests.  Lots of things to do and close to 5th Avenue.  I am sure you will be happy with your choice.

Welcome! I would try to find a thread for that specific resort if possible.  It might give you the most information!  Congrats on the upcoming little one and happy wedding planning:)

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
