Bridesmaid accessories- need advice!

Recommended Posts

Hi Ladies,

Since I'm stuck at home in the middle of an October snow storm I have been working on some wedding stuff.  I am now trying to figure out earrings for my girls.  Below are pics of the dress and necklace I purchased already.  My colors are aqua and coral.

Ok... apparently that posted blank??

What I said was I am working on my bridesmaid's accessories since I am stuck at home for the snow storm.  Below is the dress and the necklace I bought for my girls.  Our colors and coral and aqua.  I love gold as an accent color with these but am having trouble finding earrings that go.  The last pic is a picture of earring I've been thinking about, but I am worried they may be too much with such a statement necklace.  I would love your thoughts or any other ideas you have!

I think with a large statement necklace, and the bold color of the dress I would forego the earrings. IMO,  If you really felt the need to have them wear a necklace and earrings then more delicate pieces.  But I personal like necklaces just on there own, epecially for the more casual feel that Destination weddings inevitably have

Imadore, the more I see it the more I am agreeing with you.  I am thinking either studs or nothing now, gold starfish studs are just hard to find  :)

I agree.  I think that the bold necklace and the color of the dress really make a statement and by adding dangly earrings it might be to busy.  I think if the girls wore just stud earrings that would look so much more elegant!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
