Dreams Los Cabos bride Roll Call

Recommended Posts

Amanda, how much would you say you have spent in total for your wedding package that you created? What wedding package did you book?

I have the Ultimate wedding package booked for October 4th 2012.

Can anyone recommend a photography?  We are having a small wedding.. 5 guest for sure and 10 at the most so we dont need a photographer all day but I do want some photos at ceremony and on the beach.

I booked an appointment with Suzanne Morel for my hair and makeup.  Since I'm the only getting services done I need to go to her salon.  Does anyone know how far it is from the resort?  I'll have a car but i want to make sure its not too far.

Can anyone recommend a florist?  I've about Lola at Florenta.  Anyone else that has reasonable prices?  Thanks!

Sorry for the delay but yes that is correct, you only pay the 95 total, which includes the 62 for the wedding.  I am using emweddings.com for photography.  Suzanne Morale is down in Cabo San Lucas, so 15-20 minutes.  I work with Alina and the new florist place.  Dreams only allows you to use one of the two vendors, the second was recently added and has reasonable prices...they also respond quickly.

Hi ladies,

I am currently finalizing my menu for November wedding at Dreams. On the call, it was asked and confirmed that we could offer 2 to 3 main meal choices from the Gold menu, as long as we put it on the name cards and told the resort in advance. Apparently now my planner Jessica is saying they only allow 2 choices. II said that on the webinar we were told we could have three but she said it is policy. I also know other brides getting married around the same time at Los Cabos are allowed to have their guests choose from 3. Could you provide any advice or does anyone have it in print from the resort that they can pick from 3 mains? That would be helpful.

thanks!

Hey Ladies,

I have a quick questions regarding outside vendors at Dreams.  I have chosen Enrique Morales for photography, Arturo Sotomayor, Spanish guitar for the ceremony and cocktail hour, Emporio for flowers and DJ Ricardo for the reception.  Is Dreams going to charge the $95 day pass for these outside vendors to come to the wedding?  Thanks everyone!

I did not have to pay the day pass for my Vendors. I did however do a vendor table with Vendor meals from Dreams and they have a different plate of food for them, I think it was like $26 or $32, right around there.  This is optional, but since they are there so long, esp the photogs. I think it is the right thing to do.

I did not have to pay for any vendor passes. I did share with Magda everyone that was coming off resort (guests & vendors) before I arrived so there was no confusion. I will say, make sure your vendors, especially photographer and makeup & hair what room you'll be in for the wedding day. They sent my hair and make up artist to the wrong room. Luckily she had the email I sent her and came to the correct room.

I have another question for you Dreams Brides - what did you do about kids meals? I have a 2 year old, 4 year old, 5 year old, and an 11 year old. We are doing the gold plated meal but I keep getting conflicting info about what the options are for kids. Anyone able to tell me how they fed children and the price of their meals?

Hey!

We fed my daughter (3 1/2) & my niece (6) pasta with red sauce at the Rehearsal Dinner at Portofino and chicken strips and fries at the wedding reception. Heard the girls loved both meals.

Here is some of the options Magda provided me: hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken nuggets, pasta in with or red sauce

Costs: Rehearsal dinner child cost: $10       Wedding child cost: $32.50

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
