ROR Jamaica 2012 Brides

Recommended Posts

Funny thing...I just got it this morning! I guess ask and you shall receive works well for me! I had the day off so I already had my license and health card updated. No fees, no hassles. I'm so glad we chose to get married in Jamaica!
Woot hoot! That's great news, Lauren....now you're officially a married woman :)

Hi blujaye, Congratulations...you must really be getting excited...time is winding up. Im actually having my wedding day, twenty days after yours at the same three o clock time, i was thinking about doing a cocktail hour. but was wondering was it really worth it, to spend the extra amount of money when most of my guess are staying at hotel already with everything inclusive. beginnin94
Congratulations to you as well, Beginnin94! It's a beautiful resort...we were there in November and really liked it. I know a few brides here did the cocktail hour and their guests really enjoyed it. I personally won't be...with the reception at 6:30 I figured my guests could either go back to their rooms to freshen up or grab something at the bar! My fiancé too thought since we're at an all inclusive resort why pay extra. He'd rather use that extra money on more items for the oot bags or favors. Hope this helps! :)

Hello Brides,

I just got married at ROR and have been back for a few weeks. I know when I was planning I had so may specific questions and concerns and did not get some of my answers I thought I needed.

I will say that other peoples advice to relax and just enjoy is true, but it is hard to take as your big day is coming up.

I had a wedding of 62 people. I had the gazebo wedding in the garden and had a private reception on the ballroom terrace. It was fantastic!!!

I had Keisha as my coordinator, and she was great. The staff was friendly and helpful and I could not really complain about much.

If you have any specific questions that you have not been able to answer please feel free to ask. You can email me direct at tasholivia@gmail.com.

Happy planning!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
